The Wheatsheaf Stores in Northwood is a fantastic community pub that offers a warm and welcoming aura. Known locally as ‘The Sheaf,’ it’s a pub that’s that’s guaranteed to make you feel right at home.
When the days grow colder, our snug is lush. Why brave the chill when you can unwind next to our open coal fire? It’s the perfect place to stay cosy.
And while you’re relaxing with your favourite drink, there are two large TVs to keep you entertained.
Regular events keep things lively. Our popular monthly quiz night and live music sessions always draw a great crowd.
Out back, you’ll find Sheaf Street, our unique cobbled beer garden. It’s the heart of our outdoor events. We host everything from food festivals to live music performances throughout the Summer.

The best pub in the area. Nice and friendly staff. Good local craft beers. Maybe not too many but all a good selection!

Had a great night here on Friday, with one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Harissa pulled pork, so juicy and tender meat with great flavours. It was absolutely amazing, and brilliant live music too! The Bass was perfect and obviously keep a good cellar for the beer to taste so good. Great service from the staff who are all friendly too! Well done.
