WHY CALDMORE TAVERNS?

Honouring Great British Freehouses

Unlike many corporate ‘pub-co’ operations, we believe in creating partnerships with our landlords that harness creativity, entrepreneurship and financial reward. We ensure that all the supply benefits of running a free house venue are retained, whilst directly benefiting from the competitive purchasing of our group model.

The below table demonstrates how, by choosing Caldmore, you can directly benefit from your efforts with our industry-leading profit share model:

Business Opportunity FAQs

This business is all about listening. Below is a selection of some of the more common questions we get asked by candidates interested in joining the team.

What is the earning potential?

Caldmore operates a market-leading profit share model. Your financial reward directly correlates with the performance of your freehouse. There is, therefore, an unlimited earning potential. It is also important to note that the profit share percentage doesn’t change, resulting in us both growing together.

What does 'freehouse' mean?

Running a freehouse means that you are free from being tied to purchasing from a large organisation who control both the price that you pay and the products that you list which often results in it being hard to spin a profit. We believe in passing cost savings onto our landlords who should be rewarded for their hard efforts in running our fine venues.

Can I join with a business partner?

This is by all means encouraged! We have many applications from couples and families and we often find that different skill sets make the best partnerships. It is also beneficial as it means that labour costs can be reduced with workload that can be spread within the partnership.

How much money do I need to deposit?

The cost to enter one of our pubs is very low. All we ask for is a small ‘bond deposit’ that will be reimbursed if you elect to leave the business one day.
