Problem: Craft and cask beer are at the heart of our pubs. We love to celebrate the best local and national brewers, relishing the idea of supporting other small businesses to success and sourcing some of the best beers in the UK. However some of our venues struggle with customer retention and wastage when it comes to craft.
Solution: Working with several local breweries on permanent listings in our venues, we launched our Crafty Club stamp cards. These cards promote customer loyalty by gifting the end-user with a free craft or cask beer after purchasing nine pints over a period of time.
Outcome: We’ve seen some of our local independent producers benefit from a more consistent route to market within the group and through an enhanced loyalty program, benefited from stronger customer loyalty and a higher throughput of craft beer.
