Victory at the 6TR Awards 2025

We’re raising a glass to two of our fantastic pubs after a brilliant result at the And it’s all thanks to our amazing customers.

The Victoria (affectionately known as The Little Vic) in Newcastle-under-Lyme scooped the top prize, proudly bringing home the title of Pub of the Year.

Represented by Alex and Rana at the awards ceremony at the Mitchell Arts Centre, the team were thrilled with the win.

“It’s a huge achievement. A true reflection of the pub’s friendly atmosphere and community spirit,” said one of the Little Vic’s landladies, Julie. “A massive thank you to everyone who voted and helped us take the crown.”

Joining them on the winners’ list was The Royal Oak in Biddulph which was named Runner-Up.

The Oak has fantastic live acts from across the country and a reputation for brilliant entertainment. Hence, it’s more than earned its place among Staffordshire’s award winning pubs.

The 6 Towns Radio Awards returned this May after a five-year break. Back to celebrate outstanding local venues, businesses, and individuals across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

For those unaware, 6TR is run by a passionate team of volunteers and has been broadcasting since 2010. The awards shine a spotlight on the people and places that help make our area so special.

We are, of course immensely proud of all our pubs—and perhaps even more proud to be part of a community that shows so much love and support.

These wins aren’t just ours. They’re yours too.
